Radical Innovation R/O Expand Your NetworkThe exhibition Radical Innovation R/I Expand Your Network, held in the premises of IEC College of Art and Fashion (Fashion Campus), was jointly organized by the IEC College and the students of the 2018 Batch with the motive of sharing the knowledge, motivation and creation of hard work of all the batches. As part of their assignments, the students from the 3rd Semester of Furniture Design and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rdSemesters of Interior Architecture came with their artful and creative designs. The parents/guardians, the students from the Fashion Faculty, faculty members, stakeholders and other guests/visitors were invited to observe those beautiful artistic makings of the students and give them appreciation, exposure and motivation for their hard work. In the exhibition, the models of different types of furniture,shops, apartments, retail stores, andmore were demonstrated. The musical and dance concert on the stage made the students sing, dance and enjoy it to the fullest. |

Razzle DazzleIEC Razzle Dazzle fashion show based on African theme was completely organized by the students of the 2018 Batchof IEC College of Art and Fashion. In the show, the 2018 Batch designed the outfits. Further,those outfits were stitched and presented by the 2019 Batch as models on the ramp. The show gotplanned as a part of their assignment – Fashion Event Management of the 5thSemester from the 2018 Batch and Fashion Design and Visualization Production of the 3rdSemester from the 2019 Batch. The students presented atotal of 7 sequences: African Goddess, Egyptian, Dasaki, Julu Culture, Hakunama Tata, Tiv Culture and Kenyan – all based on African Culture. |

“IEC DESIGNERS RUNWAY- 8”Like every year, IEC is organizing Designer’s runway yet again. IEC Designers Runway’s has been a hyped and one of the most awaited events of the K-Town since its beginning, where all the graduating designers showcase their collections. This year, 52 graduating designers from IEC College of Art and Fashion will be participating in the runway with their collections in the event. The event is a coherent combo of glamour and creativity. It is primarily a University assignment for the graduating students but will be as grand as any other fashion shows organized by IEC. Addition to being a unique opportunity for talented fashion designing students, this event will also showcase the most creative makeup artists, hair stylists and stunning top Nepali models. Keeping in mind the seasonal demand of all the category of our society, student designers have worked on the predicted dresses for summer and winter for the upcoming seasons. IEC donates the fund of Rs 1 Lakh to Aayanka Foundation.ABOUT IEC Interio Schema VIII - Designer’s Hive"Designer’s Hive , Interio Schema -VIII is the 8th Interior Design Exhibition, organized by the final year interior design students of batch 2016 of IEC College of Art and Fashion. Through this exhibition, the final year students develop their concept to a physical, three-dimensional structure. They have used different techniques to develop their concept or experiences to enable their audiences to access the messages, and stories. The aim is to communicate with professionals and non- professionals audiences in meaningful and compelling interactions. This event will raise awareness among people about interior designing and its potential to change daily life. It will also promote local interior designers among the big corporate society. The exhibition will showcase the models of 13 upcoming Interior Designers from IEC College of Art and Fashion. This year student have focused on FUTURE ORIENTED COMMERCIAL PROJECTS like Apartment, Design Studio, Music Institute, Recycling center and gallery, Gaming Hub, Dance Studio and so on. “IEC RED DAY – 2018”
Red Day is the annual event of IEC School and College of Art and Fashion where the participants showcase their design and concepts taking red color as their basic theme. Students from the interior stream work for their respective teams whereas the students from the fashion stream work individually. Unlike other fashion events, bonus point is that the participants make the outfit for themselves & they walk on the ramp themselves. The idea was developed as such the students get the exposure and boost confidence as well as polish their personality, presentation and communication skills. Ms. Swornim Rai – Fashion Designer who is the Owner and founder of Swornim Studio Atelier completed her Bachelor Degree from IEC College of Art & Fashion. 2. “IEC SKIRT THE FIRE 2018”
It is the internal fashion event where the new enrolled students of batch (2018) showcased their first ever fashion collection. This is under their university performance grading. This show is their first step to reach till their fashion degree. The event showcases styles ranging from party wear to cultural attire. This event provides the opportunity for students to create a complete collection and send it down the runway. WINNERS
